The service

Melodank lets you provide a personal story, review and edit generated lyrics, create two song candidates, and listen to limited previews. One song credit can unlock one unexpired candidate for full online playback in your account and on a private gift page.

A one-time song credit does not include an MP3 download. A download can be purchased separately for a redeemed song; monthly plans include download rights for songs redeemed with those rights. Commercial distribution, professional studio production, and unlimited manual revision are not included. Results are generated automatically, so delays, errors, and repeated attempts can occur. We do not guarantee complete uniqueness or copyright protection in every jurisdiction.

Starting a song and using an account

You can complete the first creation steps and generate initial lyrics without signing in. Google sign-in is required for another lyrics generation, music generation, previews, purchases, and private account content.

You are responsible for the security of your Google account. Songs, orders, media, and credits belong to the account that created or redeemed them. You must not access another person’s account, media, or private link without permission.

Your content

You keep the rights you hold in stories, instructions, images, messages, and edits you submit. You give Melodank and its service providers the permissions needed to store, process, reproduce, and transform that material into lyrics and music, and to secure and support the service.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions required for submitted content, including personal information or photos of other people. Do not submit illegal, infringing, abusive, deceptive, or harmful material.

Candidates, previews, and storage

A successful music generation produces two complete candidates. You can hear the first 60 seconds of each one before redemption. Unredeemed candidates expire 72 hours after successful generation.

Redeemed songs are intended for long-term online access while your account exists, but permanent or unlimited storage is not promised. Active access ends when you delete a finished song; backup copies may remain for up to 30 days.

Prices, orders, and song credits

The current launch price appears in EUR on the German site and USD on the English site. It is reserved for 15 minutes when Stripe Checkout begins. A monthly plan keeps the price shown when the subscription starts; a later new subscription uses the price available at that time. A separate MP3 download costs €3.90 or $3.90, depending on the Checkout currency. Checkout shows the final amount, currency, and any Stripe promotion code before payment.

A successful one-time order adds one song credit. A successful monthly payment adds two song credits and two download rights. Credits and download rights already added to an active account do not expire on a fixed date and are not removed when a subscription is canceled.

Payment does not choose a song automatically. One credit unlocks one unexpired candidate. A confirmed redemption cannot be reversed or transferred to another candidate from inside the product. Other valid candidates remain available and may be unlocked with additional credits.

Private gift page

After redemption, you can share a private gift page containing the cover, message, lyrics, and full online playback. The recipient does not need an account but must have the valid private link. You can disable or rotate the link, which invalidates the previous one. A private page does not grant permission to use the song as a public example.

Cancellation, refunds, and delivery problems

Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. Whether a statutory withdrawal right for digital content ends after early performance depends on the applicable legal requirements and the information, request, consent, acknowledgment, and confirmation given at Checkout.

You may cancel a monthly plan in your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no later payments or credits are issued. Existing credits and download rights remain. Refunds and serious delivery problems are handled manually under the Refund Policy. Redemption is final inside the product without limiting rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Personal, non-commercial use

After successful payment, you may use the redeemed song as a personal, non-commercial gift. Commercial release, advertising, resale, sublicensing, streaming-platform distribution, and falsely claiming that a human artist made the work are not included. Third-party rights and mandatory law still apply.

Acceptable use

Do not abuse the service, bypass access or preview controls, disrupt the platform, send malware, scrape private content, or use Melodank to violate law or another person’s rights. We may reasonably restrict access after a material breach or when needed to protect users, providers, or operations.

Changes, liability, and applicable rights

We may make reasonable changes required for security, legal compliance, provider changes, or service improvement. Mandatory consumer rights and liability that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.

The terms supplied when an order is made apply to that order. Future versions may govern later use of the service. Mandatory protections in the consumer’s country of residence continue to apply where required by law.
